Cherry Pie Filling
This quart jar container of cherry pie filling is made with cherries grown on a farm in Michigan. There are no pesticides or herbicides used on the farm.
Cherry Pie Directions: Put bottom pie crust in pie plate. Add one jar of pie filling. Put a top pie crust (in whatever design desired) on and crimp edges. Optional is to brush top with milk and sprinkle on sugar. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes, then lower oven temp to 375 and cook 20-25 minutes til crust is golden brown.
Other Uses: Great for cherry cobbler or cherry crisp. Also wonderful warmed up and poured over shortcake, cheesecake, chocolate cake, or angel food cake.
Ingredients: Cherries, Sugar, Clear Jel.
Storage: Store in the refrigerator once the seal has been broken.
